The time was 17.55, 5 mn left before i close the shop as usuel when suddenly, the door opened and a man came in with a bow on his head, a little fuzzy I´thought. He started flipping through the vinyl records and I see that he is picking and picking more and more records that he put aside. The time was now 18.20 - I thought it was better to tell him that I have actually already closed the store if you are planning to listen all theses records. Most of time some customers stand for hours listening and finally buy 2 albums for 2 Euros. When I asked that I don't have time for wiretapping, he didn't understand my swedish luanguage. He was English speaking. I saw they I´have no time for listening when its over my opening hours. He said no, there's no need. I buy them. What 70 vinyl records just like that. I asked if he was a tourist. He said no. I play in STOM and will play tonight in Gothenburg. Do you want to come. Huh? STOM? no idea who they were. Yes of cours, I replied. He was in a hurry to get back topp prepare the show.I drove the discs to his hotel and left to Rondo the concert place where our VIP seats were waiting for us.What a show! Close to missing out on the minutes. What a fate!
STOMP is explosive, inventive, provocative, witty, and utterly unique— an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages. The eight-member troupe uses everything but conventional percussion instruments— matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters, hubcaps— to fill the stage with magnificent rhythms.
