This page is reserved solely for interviews that I have collected over the years from more than fifty world music specialists who contributed to the development, production, and promotion, as well as a few members of the group who coined the term in 1987. These interviews will help to better understand (I hope) the reasons and elements that led to the birth of the term, its true definition, and to clarify all the confusion, interpretations, and criticisms raised around the subject.
